What each package includes

The same list your billing page shows once you are inside, because it is read from the same catalogue. The conversations row is our own estimate — the allowance divided by three to six replies per chat — and it is there to help you pick a size, not as a figure to hold us to.

You are probably using something free right now

Most small businesses we talk to are on the free WhatsApp Business app, a free chat widget, or nothing but an inbox and a phone. That is the honest comparison, so here it is.

Free tools do answer with AI now. Shopify Inbox and Meta’s own assistant both write replies from your content, and they are good at it. If one website and one inbox is the whole of your customer contact, a free tool may genuinely be enough, and we would rather say that than sell you something you do not need.

What none of them do is the second half of the job: pull every channel into one place, know your live stock and orders, hand a conversation to a colleague, and connect to the rest of your systems. That is what the money is for.

Website chat plus 10 messaging channels

WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Telegram, Viber, LINE, TikTok, YouTube, SMS and email all land in one place, answered by one assistant that knows the same things everywhere.

One shared inbox, with a person able to step in

Your team sees every conversation from every channel in a single inbox and can take over mid-chat. The free apps each keep their own separate inbox, and none of them hand over to a colleague.

It knows your products, stock and orders

Connect Shopify or WooCommerce — or upload a CSV, or point it at your own API — and it answers "is this in stock" and "where is my order" from live data instead of guessing.

It plugs into the rest of your business

API keys and webhooks, so Zapier or your own system can read and write leads, conversations and orders. A free widget is a dead end by design.

Guided chats and bookings, not just answers

Take a booking, capture a lead with the fields you actually need, and run the same conversation the same way every time.

It says "I do not know"

It answers from your business information and your help articles. You can read every conversation, see where it got stuck, and fix the gap.

What everyone else charges

Where we lose

We are not ISO 27001 certified

Click4Assistance is, at £19.95 a month. If a certificate is on your procurement checklist, that is a real difference and we are not going to talk you out of it.

There is no free-forever tier

There is a free trial, and then it costs money. Tawk.to and Shopify Inbox are free and will stay free.

The AI itself is not hosted in the UK

Your data is. The model that writes the answer is not — see below, in full.

Where your data lives

Almost none of the products above will tell you this on their pricing page, so it is on ours.

In the UK

Your account, your conversations and your business data are stored in the UK. The database runs in London (AWS eu-west-2) and the application server is in Manchester.

Except the model, and here is the detail

The AI answer itself is generated by models we call at OpenAI and Anthropic, which run outside the UK — so the wording of a message leaves the country to be answered and comes straight back. We would rather tell you that here than leave you to find it in a sub-processor list.

What we collect, how long we keep it and how to get it back is written out in the privacy notice and the data processing terms. How the assistant uses AI, and what it is told not to do, is in the AI disclosure.

Questions people actually ask

What counts as an AI reply?
One message written by the assistant. A customer asking four questions in one conversation uses four. Messages your own team types in the inbox are free and unlimited — you are never charged for a human answering a human.
How many conversations is that?
It depends on how much your customers ask, so this is an estimate rather than a promise. A chat that gets somewhere usually takes the assistant three to six messages, so dividing a package’s reply allowance by three, and again by six, brackets the number of real conversations it covers. Each card above shows that sum done for its own allowance. Once you are running, your own figure is on your usage page within a week, and it is worth more than any estimate we can make from out here.
What happens when I run out?

Nothing is charged to your card for going over. The assistant stops writing AI answers, tells the customer a team member will follow up, and the message still lands in your inbox for someone to pick up. No overage bill, no surprise invoice.

There are two separate things that can stop it, and your billing page says which. The first is your package’s monthly AI reply allowance — the figure on the cards above. It resets at the start of each billing month, and moving to a larger package raises it straight away.

The second is the prepaid AI credit that pays for the model behind each reply. Every package includes credit sized to cover the replies it advertises, and while your subscription is running that credit is topped back up to the included amount every month. If an unusually heavy month spends it early, automatic top-up will buy more with a saved card — it is off by default and it is entirely your choice to turn on.

Automatic top-up buys credit. It does not raise the reply allowance, so if it is the allowance you keep reaching, the thing that helps is a larger package.

Is VAT extra?
All prices are in pounds and include VAT. The figure you see is the figure your card is charged — no seat fees, no per-conversation charges, and nothing added at checkout.
Do I need a developer?
No. Setup asks what the assistant should do and what your business does, then gives you one line of code to paste into your website — Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, Shopify or a hand-built site. If you have a developer, there is a REST API and webhooks waiting for them.
Can I cancel?
Yes, from the billing page, any month. Cancelling stops the renewal and you keep everything until the end of the period you have already paid for. Invoices, cards and cancellation are handled on Stripe’s own pages — this app never sees your card number.
Can I change package later?
Up or down, whenever. The allowance and the features change with it, and what your package includes is spelled out on your billing page — the same list you are reading here.
